The Community Engaged Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (CETL CoP) is a learning space for faculty, sessional faculty, graduate students, and others currently practicing, or with a strong interest in practicing, community engaged teaching and learning. The CoP is hosted by the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI) and supported by Open Learning and Educational Support (Open-Ed).
The main goals of the CETL CoP are to provide a space for participants to build knowledge and awareness of CETL approaches and strategies through engaging in critical dialogue, sharing insights, and addressing common challenges.
The CoP operates under a shared leadership and peer-learning model, aiming to build confidence and commitment to CETL across a variety of disciplines and levels. It also provides a forum for participants to make connections and build a shared resource and knowledge base.
If you have any questions about the CoP, contact Lindsey Thomson, Community Engaged Learning Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
