Guelph Lab

The Guelph Lab is a civic lab jointly supported by the City of Guelph and the University of Guelph. It brings together interdisciplinary teams of policy makers, citizens, service providers, and/or business leaders and provides a creative space to explore new ways of thinking, test ideas, and address complex problem solving.

Topics for Guelph Lab are selected to reflect the interests and needs of the City and the University, and support change strategies for systems that impact the larger community. CESI's involvement in the lab provides students and faculty with opportunities to experience practical learning opportunities while contributing to research and problem solving efforts. The City’s open government initiative will also directly benefit from the Guelph Lab activities, which support efforts to build citizen involvement in community decision making.
