Call for Abstracts: Community Engaged and Collaborative Research
We invite our colleagues and partners to consider submitting an abstract to one of these two journals are inviting submissions related to community engaged research and teaching:
Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning, Fall 2019 Issue
Special section on “Community Impacts of Engaged Research, Teaching and Practice”
For this special section, the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning is seeking research, pedagogy, and other articles that explore community first approaches to community-engaged research, teaching, and practice work, and how they can have greater community impact.
The first step in the submission process is to submit a one-page abstract by December 20, 2018 that conveys the focus for the article. Invitations to submit an article will be made in early January, with invited articles due March 25, 2019. More for information, review the Call for Submissions information on the journal’s website.
Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement, Vol. 12 (2)
Gateways is calling for papers that explore the epistemologies and forms of scholarship emerging from and through community engagement.
The due date for abstracts is 15 February, 2019. Manuscripts will be due by August 2019 for publication in December 2019. For more information, see the Gateways Journal Call for Papers.
