In 2009, CSAHS faculty at the University of Guelph were surveyed about their community-engaged activities (teaching, research, and service). The intention of the survey was to document current faculty involvement in community-engaged work, to identify facilitators to engagement in research, teaching and service, and to build on current successful practice. The results serve as a baseline of activities across the College to inform new initiatives intended to build capacity for community-engaged work. Implications for faculty support are discussed.
