Join the Waterloo Wellington KMb Community for their first event of the year! This year, they are exploring tensions in KMb through a series of facilitated group discussions. Sessions will be interactive and engage participants in discussions around some of the key struggles, questions and tensions that practitioners of KMb face.

In this first discussion, they will reflect on the topic of roles and responsibilities in knowledge mobilization: whose job is it to mobilize knowledge? What type of expertise and skills get rewarded, and why? How have you seen KMb roles and rewards work well - or not?

Join in for a fun and informal conversation to share your questions and experiences and hear from colleagues who have been there.

Save the date for future sessions:

  • Dec 16, 12-1pm - Grimpacts: what happens when research negatively impacts society (and how can we prevent it)?
  • Feb 10, 12-1pm - How Much Does Research Really Inform Evidence-Based Decision Making?
  • March 24, 12-1pm - Actual vs token co-creation
  • Spring  2023 - Spring social - Date TBD
