Join us for this collaborative stick weaving project as we explore placemaking and community building with natural materials gathered from Aboretum staff winter pruning to be repurposed as temporary art installations on the front lawn at the University of Guelph.

All materials will be provided - drop in between 1 and 3pm on Wednesday, April 17! This event is free and open to all.

Led by KW weaver and sculptor Agnes Niewiadomsi and Guelph interdisciplinary artist Dawn Matheson. 

Music improvisations by annais and Ben Finley.

 

This project is present by HowToDrawATree.ca, the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute, University of Guelph Grounds, and the Arboretum. It is supported by the Student Life Engagement Fund.
