Sharing Knowledge with Indigenous Communities: Knowledge Mobilization Forum Event

On June 13, 2022, CESI and the Waterloo Wellington Knowledge Mobilization Community hosted Sharing Knowledge with Indigenous Communities as part of the 2022 Knowledge Mobilization Forum. This event brought together knowledge mobilization practitioners and community engaged researchers (faculty, staff, students and others) to reflect about knowledge systems and approaches to engagement with Indigenous peoples, tour the Wisahkotewinowak Tea Garden, and experience the Mtigwaaki: Among the Trees interpretive walk. The goal of this event was to offer knowledge mobilization practitioners the opportunity to hear and learn from various projects and partnerships that weave together Indigenous and Western understandings of knowledge creation and exchange as they reflected on and enriched their practice.
