Why I am working with CESI: I am passionate about conducting applied research that is useful for community organizations to mobilize and make positive social change. I also believe in the importance of community partnerships which allow for local knowledge and experience to inform and enrich the research process. Working with CESI provides me with the opportunity to collaborate with the community and produce meaningful research that helps make a positive impact for our partners.

Program of study: I am currently pursuing my MA in Applied Social Psychology, and my research interests surround the complex social issues that normalize sexual violence in everyday life. Specifically, my master’s thesis explores how online social influences can either normalize or challenge rape-supportive attitudes.
