Join us as we spend International Women’s Day working towards a more inclusive future!

On March 8, 2019, CESI joins the Canadian Federation of University Women, Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis and the Zonta Club of Guelph to host a community consultation and highlight current accessibility research aimed at improving our local library.

We invite all members of the public to participate in discussions about your current use of the Guelph Public Library system, and share your vision for the new Central Library. Your perspectives will be included as part of a larger study looking at how people use, or don't use, local libraries, and will be provided to decisions-makers and policy leaders to inform the creation of the new library.

The event will be taking place at St. George’s Church at 99 Woolwich Street, Guelph from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Doors will open at 11:30am - feel free to come early for refreshments and visioning activities! Following presentations, join us on Heffernan Bridge for our annual dance in an intersectional celebration of all that International Women’s Day stands for.
