Join the Waterloo Wellington KMb Community on February 10th for their first session of 2023! This session will examine the impact of knowledge mobilization strategies to inform decision-making.

Evidence-based decision-making is often seen as a goal of knowledge mobilization; however, decision-making can sometimes be impacted by other factors such as ideology, trusted relationships, interactions between decision-makers, personal values, strategic planning, etc. As a result, some decisions can seem to be made to meet political goals rather than be informed by current knowledge. As knowledge mobilizers, how do we effectively understand and navigate the black box of decision-making? What are the factors at play and how do they interact with scientific evidence?

Register for a fun and informal conversation with colleagues facing these same questions!
