Why I’m working with CESI: I am working with CESI because I am passionate about social justice issues and appreciate the collaborative work that CESI does with community partners. I believe community-identified research has significant value because it is critical to listen to the communities directly impacted since they have unique knowledge that can lead to meaningful outcomes.

Program of study: I am in my final year of the Master of Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy program at the University of Guelph. My research examines how Canadian drug policy has impacted racial minority populations, specifically analyzing the intersecting factors of women drug offenders.
