Research Shop Assistant

Why I am working with the Research Shop: I was drawn to the Research Shop’s commitment to critical community engaged scholarship, as well as the commitment to root practices in relationships which honor diverse ways of knowing. By working in partnership with community stakeholders, I am excited to do work that brings tangible solutions to complex issues.

Program of study: I am a PhD student in Family Relations and Human Development. My dissertation research will focus on caregiving roles in more than human families, with a focus on care between dogs and humans when a substantial caregiving role is present within the family system. This research builds on my previous research experience around caregiving roles in young adulthood.
