Why I’m working with CESI: As a Master’s student in the Applied Social Psychology program, I have developed a strong interest in mobilizing my research toward applied, community-based projects that support marginalized communities. Through my role as a Research Shop Assistant, I hope to contribute to projects that translate research findings into accessible knowledge to help bridge existing information gaps and ultimately support actionable, community-informed outcomes. Additionally, as an emerging researcher, I hope my role as a Research Shop Assistant will help me develop the skills necessary to engage in mixed-methods research, thereby broadening my methodological scope and enabling me to become a more well-rounded academic.
