Chalmers Food Pantry

This report presents the findings of research conducted by CESI’s Research Shop in partnership with Chalmers, a non-profit organization in Guelph that offers fresh food and social support to anyone that comes through their doors. In specific, The Food Pantry program at Chalmers provides food and personal care items for individuals to select from and take home. The aim of this research was to 1.) understand the impact of Chalmers on users’ well-being and 2.) sustain fundraising and donation efforts. The results of this project indicated that Chalmers Food Pantry met the needs of its users; however, expansion of services was suggested as an improvement.
