Men’s Homelessness in Dufferin County: A Needs Assessment

This report presents the findings of research conducted by CESI’s Research Shop in partnership with The Men’s Homelessness Committee of the Town of Orangeville. The objective of this research was to conduct a needs assessment of the social services available to men experiencing homelessness in Dufferin County and identify areas for potential development. The report provides a literature review and environmental scan on the issue of homelessness and initiatives in Dufferin County, followed by the results of two surveys that collected feedback from social service providers and the general community. The report concludes with a discussion of potential next steps in addressing homelessness. The findings from this report set the foundation for further engagement with the community of Dufferin County to propose solutions for homelessness.
