Now Open: Applications for the Research Impact Canada (RIC) Engaged Scholarship Award for Graduate Students

Research Impact Canada Network (RIC) aims to maximize research impact in communities and is offering graduate students an award to recognize their efforts in engaged scholarship, co-creation of knowledge, and knowledge mobilization.

Winners will be awarded a cash prize of $3000 CAD for Doctorate students and recent Doctorate graduates or $2000 CAD for Masters’ students and recent Masters’ graduates. As well, winners will receive complimentary registration to the 2023 Community-Campus Exposition, invitations to present their engaged research project, and posts on the RIC website and social media pages highlighting their project.

The projects belonging to the 2022 and 2021 RIC Engaged Scholarship Award winners, which include four University of Guelph Students, can be referred to as examples of engaged scholarship activities. There will also be an online information session on January 19, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 pm Eastern Time, and you may register here.
