CESI Article: Art and Narrative Therapy with the Grief and Bereavement Process

The CESI article Exploring the Impacts of an Art and Narrative Therapy Program on Participants’ Grief and Bereavement Experiences has been in the OMEGA - Journal of Death and Dying's top-read articles for the past six months, four years after its publication.

This research article explores the impact an Ontario-based closed group art and narrative therapy program can have on individuals following the loss of a loved one. Grief and bereavement can have short or long-term physical and psychosocial impacts on individuals. This study explores how social and community connection can positively influence times of grief and bereavement. Further, this work demonstrates how the program can lessen grief over time and assess the overall impact programs like this one can have.
