Congratulations! The Hub Sandbox took home two awards at the CBaSE Hub Startup pitch competition on Wednesday, December 5.
The Hub Sandbox is an entrepreneurship program for students supported by CESI in collaboration with the Center for Business and Social Entreprise (CBaSE). The Hub brings together community engagement and social entrepreneurship best practices to address community-identified needs.
CESI's in-house garage band performed in the University's talent show College Idol, on October 31!

CESI is hiring a graduate student to serve as Knowledge Mobilization and Design Assistant for the Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 semesters. The successful student will be responsible for creating visual products (e.g. infographics, posters, videos) to help translate CESI research in more accessible formats, supporting research communications, and contributing to the development of knowledge mobilization
The successful student will commence in early October 2018 and work 5 to 7 hours a week until April 2019 (with possibility to extend).
CESI is looking to fill five student positions for the Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 semesters! Students will work within our Research Shop and Knowledge Mobilization programs on roles related to design, communications, and research.
