Clearing the Air: Are Electric Vehicles Actually Better for Our Health?

Last June Environmental Defence and the Ontario Public Health Association released the Clearing the Air report analyzing the health impacts of electric vehicles (EVs) and cleaner trucks in Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and how they can clear the air by reducing pollution. This report shows that air pollution causes more than 3,000 premature deaths every year in the GTHA - and that affects Guelph, too.
