Join us for the third installment of our six-part Skills for Research Impact workshop series! How do you share your research with non-academic audiences? Learn about a number of potential mechanisms you can use for knowledge mobilization, discover how to choose a mechanism that’s appropriate for your audience, and take a deep dive into several popular mechanisms for dissemination, including social media, research summaries, infographics, and media.

BIPOC students at the University of Guelph, University of British Columbia, and University of Waterloo are invited to a free, online, digital storytelling workshop.  As a participant in the workshop, you will explore your ideas about, and experiences with, food and food (in)security by creating your own engaging 2-4 minute digital story. Taking your work a step further with thoughtful evaluation is imperative to ensuring your project has hit its mark. This presentation will discuss how you can use anchors, anvils, and maybe other forms of alliteration, to help you measure the impact of your KT strategies.

Community engaged teaching and learning (CETL) offers a wide range of creative and engaging possibilities for assessing and documenting student learning and driving progress toward achieving meaningful community priorities. These possibilities are exciting but can also illuminate complexities among institutional and community goals for learning, engagement processes, and outputs.
